Comanchero bikie ex-president Amad "Jay" Malkoun believed to have fled from Thailand to Dubai

A video showing the moment Antonio Bagnato, prime suspect in the murder of a Hells Angel gang member in Pattaya, Thailand, was arrested by cops in Phnom Penh after fleeing to Cambodia.

SYDNEY: Notorious Melbourne bikie Amad "Jay" Malkoun, who was present at the abduction of international drug trafficker Wayne Rodney Schneider in Thailand, is believed to have fled to Dubai.

Malkoun had been questioned as witness by Thai police in relation to Schneider's abduction and murder last week.

But a source close to Malkoun denied he had left the country without permission, claiming Thai police said Malkoun was "free to go".

Malkoun, himself a convicted drug trafficker, has been living in Dubai with his family since resigning as the president of the Comanchero bikie gang in 2013.

It is understood that Malkoun is a close associate of a member of the Gulf state's royal family who has allowed him to stay in the United Arab Emirates despite his extensive criminal history and organised crime connections.

Witness to Aust murder flees Thailand

SYDNEY:-- A key witness to the kidnapping and murder of a former Australian Hells Angels member in eastern Thailand has reportedly fled to Dubai.

Amad Jay Malkoun, a former bike gang leader and close associate of murdered Australian Wayne Rodney Schneider, is wanted for further questioning by Royal Thai Police.

Malkoun claimed he slept through the violent kidnapping of Schneider on November 30 at the A$5200 a month villa he was sharing with the dead Australian, whose naked body was later recovered from a shallow sandy grave south east of Bangkok.

Malkoun, a former head of Australia's outlaw Comanchero biker gang who left Melbourne in 2013 to settle in Dubai, was also a convicted large-scale heroin trafficker.

Media reports said Schneider's wife was already living in Dubai.

Malkoun is said to have been linked to Melbourne real estate deals worth $13 million, involving a Russian woman, and had also developed strong connections into Russia through his time in Dubai.

Rubbish - Every country has the right to refuse entry to any foreign national who has past (spent) convictions. It is not a right to enter another country.

Maybe he left because it was getting a little 'hot' in Thailand, and the Thais did not take away his passport. Seems taking away a passport is not often done in Thailand. Maybe they didn't take it away and he was advised to leave Thailand - who would want a scum like that in their country? Good chance to get rid of him.

There are certain nationalities in Australia who are over-represented in terms of criminal activity. For example, one nationality specialises in auto industry insurance fraud.

We have even had immigration ministers interfering in due process, and granting entry to persons with extensive criminal activity. Or a former Foreign Minister with links to the Mafia.

Won't happen I know; however, persons with criminal convictions in Australia and of a defined nationality prior to entry into Australia should be sent back to their country of origin.

Cambodia is a very poor backwater country so its unlikely they can afford the luxury of police cars.

What concerned me the most was that woman sitting on a bike carrying a ladder !!!! That would be a lethal missile if the rider lost control at 30 kmh.

Six months single entry with reporting to Immigration every month. If urgent departure is required prior to expiry date then 1 million thb "Early Exit Fee" is paid at Immigration departure.
