Hair Clipper Sharpening in Chiang Mai?

Featured Replies

Anyone know of a shop in Chiang Mai that will sharpen the blades of a hair trimmer similar to the type in the photo?
Thanks,
W

On the moat, as you pass Talaat Somphet, continue until the bend to the left. Just at the bend is some kind of motor cycle rental place or something. Just before that is a little shop that sells hair clippers. They have been in business forever and most barbers in town take their clippers there to be sharpened. The turn around is about 10-14 days as I recall. The guy who sharpens them is getting on in years and only comes one day a week. I take mine there every two years or so. Not expensive at all.

Edit: it's the corner where Moon Muang turns into Sriphoom

I bought Babylis clippers nine years ago. My wife trims my (admittedly sparse) hair at least once a month. Have never thought of sharpening.
