I need an urgent responses to the below question.

I'm working in Chon Buri and i just renewed my Visa/work permit last month at Immigration Office at Chon Buri. I intend to travel out of Thailand by next week. Right now i am in Chiang Mai for a program. Is possible for me to do my Re Entry permit at the Chiang Mail Immigration and if yes how much will it cost me for multiple? since the immigration office is very close to the hotel i lodged here in chiang mai

I assume you have an extension of stay that you want to keep alive.

• Yes you can get a re-entry permit from CM immigration.
• Single entry = 1,000 baht.
• Multiple entry = 3,800 baht (Valid for the remaining term of your extension to stay)

The multi entry permit will cost 3800 Bht.

The Chiang Mai office may not provide the permit.

If flying out of either of the Bangkok airports re entry permits can be obtained from the immigration at departure.

If you are planning on leaving 4 or more times, or just want one stamp in your passport, then the multi entry permit is the way to go. Otherwise a single each time you leave will keep your stay live until next November.

I believe it's also possible to get a re-entry permit at Chiang Mai airport. Others may be able to confirm that.

Suggest you ask at the CM immigration office.

What confusion! You can get a re-entry permit either at the Chiang Mai Immigration Office or at Chiang Mai Airport. If you're going to get it at the airport, be sure to leave yourself enough time at the airport before the departure of your flight. Perhaps someone else can supply you with the telephone numbers to botth locations.

Re-entry permits can only be applied for at the immigration office where you got the extension or at airports and border crossings that have a re-entry permit desk
