last time I went to extend my visa 30 days, they required me to get documents from the owner of my house, it was a huge hassle. I already gave these documents 3 months ago to extend my 60 day tourist visa by 30 more days at Jomtien Immigration. I need to go back now and extend another 30 days, do I need to get these documents again, can I bring the same ones I used before or do they have them on file for me already?

Anyone know about this?

My girlfriend just called and yeah, I need to do this again unless the house owner physically goes to immigration and registers me.

What a damn mess. It is forcing me to get a 6 month lease when my contract is expired and we are both happily doing a verbal month to month contract. But now I need to ASK her for a 6 month lease contract so I have it to extend my stay in Thailand. This was why people love Pattaya, landlords are cool here and didn't require long term contracts, most were all happy to do verbal month to month. Not anymore because we will now NEED a contract to show to immigration for the tourist extension.

Ah well...

You don't need a lease!

I have a verbal with my owners and I just took in a couple of forms and a copy of his ID.

So, Ubonjoe, I have to extend again on the 26th. Can take copies of the old docs I have here, or do I need a new set? Just want to be clear. Immigration is a pain....

Thanks!
