And the outcome is pretty much a forgone conclusion.

In reading the comments to this story, I wonder just how many of you realize just how much money

the local police are paid in Thailand. I also know that in Vietnam, Cambodia, Burma and other

Asian countries including India, the pay is not that much.

Try to remember that you get what you pay for. That rings true for many things.

If you are even from the USA, I have been there and have American relatives living there

and I know that their pay scale is even worse than the police forces pay in Canada.

I do not know what the wage scale is for the UK or Australia, but it must be way better

than here in Thailand.
