AC factory blaze put out after four hours

NONTHABURI: An extensive fire, which had ravaged an air-conditioner factory in Nonthaburi's Pak Kred district on Friday night, was put off early yesterday morning but the cause of the blaze was yet to be determined and damage assessment was still ongoing. No death or injury was reported.

Police and volunteers join hands to prevent crime in Chatuchak market

BANGKOK: A project for the prevention of crime was launched yesterday at Bangkok's famed Chatuchak Weekend Market under which police and volunteers would patrol the 68-rai market while some 70 CCTV cameras would be installed along with six security signal booths.

Police survive motorcycle bomb in Tak Bai

TAK BAI: FOUR forensic police officers and an accompanying security team had a narrow escape yesterday morning when a motorcycle bomb exploded just after the two-truck convoy they were travelling in passed the site of the bomb in Narathiwat's Tak Bai district.

PATTAYA:-- In the early hours of Saturday, a 69-year-old British Tourist from Manchester was beaten-up by two Ladyboy’s on Jomtien Beach following an earlier angry confrontation with a group of them further up the Beach promenade.

Swiss: 2 arrested Syrians not linked to 4 IS suspects
