BANGKOK, 13 December 2015 (NNT) - The National Legislative Assembly will convene more sessions during the week to deliberate draft laws and review names of nominated members of an anti-corruption committee.

NLA President Pornpetch Wichitcholchai has issued an order calling meetings with members of the legislature on December 17 and 18.

Agendas set for the NLA members include the setting up of a special committee to verify backgrounds, records of behavior and ethics of people who have been nominated to be the president and members of the Public Sector Anti-Corruption Commission.

The NLA will also be deliberating an amendment to the National Reserved Forest Act, the draft emergency decree on fishery, and the draft law on the promotion and the preservation of cultural heritage and wisdom.

In addition, members of the NLA will ask the Commerce Minister about the problem of rubber product price, and the Prime Minister about the measures related to the reclamation of forest and solutions against drought.
