Emergency travel

Featured Replies

Hi,

My son and I need to travel to the USA in the next few days for an urgent matter, I would be returning first week of January.

I have been on a non-B visa for 11 years here. My US Passport expires on June 1, 2016.

Would I have an issue coming back going through immigration, as my passport would have just under 6 months validity left.

My current visa expiration date is April 22, 2016.

Thanks

If you have a valid Visa there will be no problem returning.

Thailand only requires a passport to be valid for the proposed length of stay.

Correct in this case but it does not apply to all countries. Citizens of many countries need 6 months to enter the country.
