Two points to note: This forum sees fit to disallow posts seeking missing persons (think about it) The use of illegal drugs and illegal substances in Thailand carries extremely severe penalties. Accusations against anybody regarding the use of drugs or other illegal substances could result in awful consequences for someone for whom there is no evidence of them commiting these crimes in Thailand (Think about it). . Adults go missing all the time and the very vast majority have no sinister reasons at all. In the age of instant intenet and email communication the general public are increasingly unaware of this salient fact. Human nature has not changed. People will want to disappear. This case is just a five minute disappearance. Worrying parents can rest assured that there are plenty of other prodigal sons and daughters who will show up again when the time is right. I would be willing to pay far more for a visa if i knew it would weed out the millions of losers both men and women who arrive here. The money could be spent on a man hunt to track down the thousands of foreign criminals that somehow the government allowed in. Overall it would make Thailand a much more enjoyable and safer place to visit. Besides far fewer various forms of trash arriving at the airports and land borders. Making his family think he was in trouble. No way that is ok. Years ago in Manila in its heady days had the chance to stay and do a movie. However had to go home to start a new job and I went home.
