One million migrants arrived on European shores in 2015

On December 18,1990, the United Nations adopted the international convention on the protection of the rights of migrant workers and members of their families.

Since then the date has become Migrants Day.

As the day is marked it is estimated migrant flows will reach record levels by the end of the year:

Joel Millman is from the International Organisation for Migration: “IOM estimates that the million person mark will pass, this is almost five times last year level, which is extraordinary. We also want to point out that these very high flows for December are proving to be what we feared, very lethal. Particularly in the Eastern Mediterranean, where we counted 760 deaths so far this year.”

According to the express enough migrants to fill a football stadium have simply gone missing. A bit late for a product recall, now Norway is setting up a course to teach migrants how to treat women, the Danes are doing likewise and may make it compulsory along with language training.

Not that there's a rape problem or huge cultural issues with the one million plus migrants this year alone. Note this piece is a tacit recognition of the damage already caused along with efforts to shut the stable door after the horse has bolted.

Henry Ove Berg, who was Stavanger’s police chief during the spike in rape cases, said he supported providing migrants sex education because “people from some parts of the world have never seen a girl in a miniskirt, only in a burqa.” When they get to Norway, he added, “something happens in their heads.”

Goodness knows what happened in the heads of the political elite who presided over this mess but it sure as hell wasn't brain activity.
