The son of a prominent tycoon publicly committed suicide on Saturday evening by jumping from the 16th floor of a Phnom Penh apartment block after years of battling with drug addiction.

The man crashed through the roof of a neighbour’s house, startling her as she watched TV. Twenty-five-year-old Huy Chhin – the son of Oknha Huy Koeng, a former actor and producer – jumped off of a Tuol Kork district condo building, according to police.

Chhin’s family said he had been taken to rehab multiple times before his death, and had warned people that he planned to take his own life.

So sad, yet people don't learn from incidents like this. They seem to have an 'it can't happen to me/I'm in control' mentality.

He made a choice, not a good one, but a choice nevertheless, not like this poor sod, being thrown off a building by IS scum.
