Scores killed, over a hundred injured as air strikes target rebel-held city in northwest Syria

DAMASCUS: -- Air strikes thought to have been carried out by Russia have reportedly killed scores of people and injured many more in the rebel-held city of Idlib in northwest Syria on Sunday.

Rescue workers and residents said at least six strikes hit a busy market place, government buildings and residential areas.

They said many people were still buried under the rubble and that at least 150 had been injured, with some of the most serious cases being taken to hospitals in Turkey.

Idlib is the capital of the northwest province of the same name. It has become an important centre for the rebel-held region of the country after being captured earlier this year buy a coalition of insurgent groups.

What to expect?! Idlib has been hold by Army of Conquest sins March and Army of Conquest is just a coalition of al-Nusra (al-Qaeda in Syria) and other Islamist groups. But I guess that there are a lot of Turkmen (ethical Turks in Syria) there too as its just in between Aleppo and Latakia that has a lot of Turkmen... "some of the most serious cases being taken to hospitals in Turkey." .
This is just a natural response from Russian as Turkey Shot down their plane and Turkmen shot the pilots (one killed) after ejecting from the plane. Shooting a pilot in a parachute is a war crime according to the Geneva convention so the Turkmen can stop accusing Assad and the Russians for committing war crimes as they are as good people and commits war crimes too.

So since the Turks shot down a war plane and killed a pilot, a lot of innocent people get bombed by the Russians?

I hope that score has been settled.

So you are saying it's ok to kill hundreds of innocent civilians, many of whom are women and children, because one pilot who was bombing other innocent civilians was shot after his plane was brought down? A bit of a stretch there. Maybe if that pilot hadn't been there, he would have not been shot down and these other innocent civilians would not have been killed???

I guess that argument goes both ways, if the innocent civilians, women and children hadn't been

there they to would not have been killed.
