(Bank statement (Thai Bank Account) for the past 2 months

with the minimum balance of 400,000 Baht (or minimum
salary of 40,000 Baht/month))

I am going to apply for non o visa soon

but i have some doubts.

1) i am working in india with salary more than 40,000 thai baht per month (exactly 1500 USD)

can i use my company salary certificate for this purpose? is it valid for visa?

2) or if i deposit 400,000 in account for 2 months and apply for visa from my home country after 2 months - will get visa for 90 days

once i am in Thailand, after 90 days i will extend my visa, so i need show the money in account again?

Normally the financial proof is not needed to a apply for a single entry non-o visa based upon marriage at an embassy or consulate.

It is only needed to apply for a one year extension of stay at an immigration office here. Your income would be all that you need to apply for the extension if you can get an income letter from to prove the minimum requirement of 40k baht.

You can get single entry Non O Visa (3 months) from Thai Embassy/Consulate in India showing your Thai Marriage Certificate, Wife's ID & Blue Book, etc.

To extend it to 1 year stay, you'd need 400k THB in Thai Bank for 2 months. I am quite sure Indian Embassy in Bangkok does not issue or attest Income Certificates. I will cross check this when I visit them next week.

I am from Mumbai, here on extension of stay based on marriage. If you need any further details send me direct message.
