I'm going to be closer to Ranong when I extend for my third month in my single-entry 3 month visa (I'm British). How is Ranong Immigration for doing the usual third month thing? Will it be a problem that I checked in at Ao Chalong? Anyone any experience with doing the 1900bhat third month thing?

You should have no problem applying for a 30 day extension of your 60 day entry from a tourist visa.

You will need a local address to put on the application form and they may ask for proof of it. A hotel receipt would be accepted.
