Specifically T profile bar, approx. 1 1/4- 1 1/2" (3-4cm) X 5/8- 3/4" (15-20mm). I've seen everything but, at 10 or so shops I've looked in. Even Global House with its big selection of steel products is mai mee. "Not sure/ don't know if they have" is not very helpful so confirmed sightings if you know of a source. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

If you are on the superhighway heading from the river towards Maya, turn left on to Chang Puak. There is a walk over. About 100 meters before that, before the entrance to the university, there is a steel shop. Small frontage, but actually a cavernous place. They will have it or can get it. Been buying stuff there for five years.

I was in that shop yesterday, no have, but thanks. If I can't find or order, as a last resort I can try to have 2 pcs of flat bar welded. 2 angles welded together will give too thick a 'flange'.

Yes welding two flat bars would work but you would need to make a jig and stitch weld it on opposite sides to avoid it ending up like a banana.
