The Namibian:

"A 41-YEAR-OLD pastor died when he was struck by lightning while preaching at the Apostolic Church at Mazana village in the Kavango East region on Sunday.

In an unrelated incident, an elderly woman died after being struck by lightning on Saturday afternoon.
The incident occurred at about 15h00 at Mupapama village some 80 kilometres from Rundu. The deceased has been identified as Mpande Maliro (82).
Her next of kin have been informed and police investigations into the matter continue.

Meanwhile, in the Oshikoto region, a 19-year-old girl is in critical condition at the Omuthiya State Hospital after she was also struck by lightning on Sunday.
The incident occurred at Onaukulu village at around 00h21."
