Wow.... what a bunch of jealous posts here. Wonder how you feel if someone break in your house....

You got that right. Nothing but sour grapes by a bunch of little people. It's just a story about a burglary in which $300,000 in jewelry was stolen from someone with a wealthy brother. Get over it.

"burglarized"? Why couldn't she have just been burgled?

bur·glar·ize
ˈbərɡləˌrīz/
verb
North American
past tense: burglarized; past participle: burglarized
  1. enter (a building) illegally with intent to commit a crime, especially theft.
"our summer house has been burglarized"

---------------------------------------------------------

Most North Americans don't bother to learn English from England.

Homer Simpson said it best. "Why should I study English? I'm never going to England!" clap2.gif

  • Burgled. Burglarised is an Americanism which journalists have copied but it is a clumsy and unattractive word.

Just sums it up perfectly

If a chap got a big surprise from a ladyboy would he be buggerised ? Oh back to topic , if the lady in question looks at this blog there is a lovely hand bag advertisement .

Buggerised is fairly common slang in Oz - meaning messed about, screwed around - as in "I got buggerised about all afternoon at the xxxxx office".
