Hi,

Have just got tt&t adsl set up here in Chiang Mai.

Problem is I can no longer access gmail, this used to work fine using dial up.

I am using an allied router.

The default google site that appears if i browse to google.com is the hong kong one google.com.hk rather than google.com.th so i think this may have something to do with it?

Cheers,

Steve

would you mind telling me what your default gateway is set to? you can see it by browsing to 192.168.1.1 (your router). I suspect this might be my problem.

If your router is 192.168.1.1..then the default gateway on your client PC will also be 192.168.1.1

As for the wrong Google page maybe its to do with the regional settings on your computer..are you using Windows ?

The problem is there on both linux and windows (i use both).

I meant the default gateway on the router rather than the computer.

Are the regional settings of the pc sent with http requests? I will have set both operating systems up to UK settings.
