Left the country. 90 day report.

Featured Replies

Hi. My wife is on a guardian visa. She was due to report about now if she had not of exited. Does she still need to report for her 90 day. The immigration didn't seem to have a clue which was most helpful. Appreciate your answers.

It is a report of staying longer 90 days in the country. Leaving the country on or before 90 days ends the need to do a report. Then on re-entry to the country a 90 day report is due 90 days from the date of entry including that date in the count.

Did she get a reentry permit before leaving? If so it is good until her visa runs out. She will have to report 90 days after reentry

Why is this so hard for people to understand? One reports if you STAY LONGER than 90 Days. If one doesn't, you just throw away the form at the airport.

Not all people are familar with the procedure, which might be the reason for the OP to ask this question here. Why is this so hard for people to understand? facepalm.gif

The form itself is titled: Form For Alien To Notify Of Staying Longer Than 90 Days.

With such cryptic and enigmatic wording, I can see where the confusion could arise laugh.png

Probably the most simple requirement when dealing with Immigration and still this gets asked every day.

Amazes me.

whistling.gif If she stays 89 days or less on her visa/extension she does not have tro do a 90 day report.

only if dhe stays 90 days or more do she need to do a 90 say repoert.

if she is current;y on a visa extension she should get at least a seingle exit re-entry permit to keep her visa/extrension valid on return.

The 90 day "countdown clock" is reset amd starts to recount to 90 days when she returns.

That is the benefit of getting that exit re-entyr permit before leaving Thailand

It is more than 90 days that requires the report. A person can leave on the 90th day without needing to do a report.

Again, someone who can't read and understand the forms title :)
