How long do I have to use a single entry visa

Featured Replies

I am going to apply for a single entry visa in Vientiane

How long is it valid for after it is issued?

Thanks

A single entry tourist visa is valid for 3 months from date of issue. It will be shown as the enter before date on the visa.

So I have 3 months to use it and then 60 days when I get to Thailand and then I can extend it for 30 days?

Yes

what would you recommend to do if you have a setv for thailand and then at the end of it you want to go to cambodia for a couple of weeks but go back and fly out of thailand? I am australian and do have the non visa for 30 days option so could that be used to go back into thailand and fly home before 30 days?

Yes I think that will be OK as long as you have flight booked out of Thailand

You would have no problem getting a 30 day visa exempt entry when you return from your trip by air.

Wait are you flying or going overland when you come back from Cambodia?

If u are going overland they might only give you 15 days
