Non-immigrant visa “O” Marriage visa

I live in Thai and have a Thai wife. My company have so far looked after my visa needs and work permit, this year I will retire. Looking on Google I seem to be getting conflicting information about the requiments and wondered if anyone knows the current process: I have two specific questions:

1. I know I either have to have 40KTHB monthly in come or 400THB lumpsum, my question in this regard is tow fold

The requirements to get an extension of stay based upon marriage is 400k baht in a Thai bank for 2 months or proof of 40k baht monthly income. Only one of the 2 is needed.

You can still get work permit on non-o visa/extension for visiting family. This is preferred in case your employment goes sideways.

B400k has to be in your personal thai bank account for minm 2 months before you submit the application (not joint thai bank account).
