Leaving Every 90 Days By Air With Non Immigrant O?

Featured Replies

A visa rumor question... I am in CM on a non immigrant O and go to the border every 90 days. So, I was just told by a friend who heard from someone at immigration that the rule has changed and to get another 90 days one must leave BY AIR. I am curious if anyone else has heard this.

Also, I have three more months left on my year visa and must run for the border at the end of this month to get my final three months. With all the changes rules, are there any wild cards that I need to expect at the border (if I can in fact still go that way)?

Thanks in advance for any responses!!

If you have a 12 month multi-entry Non"O" visa you can actually stay in Thailand for almost 15 months. After 3 months you did your first visa run, and then after 6 months and then 9 months, you can now make a final visa run just prior to the visa expiry and you will get stamped into Thailand for a further 3 months making a total of almost 15 months. The rumour about having to fly on your next visa run is, I suspect, not true.

NOT TRUE , you can leave at any boder/exit point.
