nightbirdbs
For a Non Immigrant “O” Visa, requirements may vary depending on the case. In the case of a Non-Immigrant ‘O” visa for retirement, you will need 800,000 baht tin a Thai bank, a copy of your Thai bank book, pension details or proof of a sustainable income, 2 passport-sized photos, and you must be over 55 years of age. Evilbaz
Also income/pensions have to be verified by a sworn affidavit at your Embassy - best not to lie as it's a Federal offence. Back up proof may be required at some Immi offices.

Evilbaz
It never ceases to amaze me the lack of attention to detail and the provision of wrong or out-of-date information on visas provided by legal co. based websites.
dominator
When you are over 50, have 800000 baht in the bank on an originally non-immy-'o' visa, you need a letter from the bank confirming the money has been in the bank for minimum of 2 months, copy of your bank book. You do not need proof of pension etc as well.

The consulate in Hull , Uk is stating that in order to get an O pensioner (I read this as retirement ) you have to be 65 For O married to a thai income of 65,000Bht a month Maybe different for other countries or applying for extension of stay in Thailand

The income to get a non-o based upon marriage is an error but Hull seems to enforce it. The embassy and other consulates do them with no financial proof.
