Thai Busways International

Yo,

just arrived from a 4.5 hour flight from Shanghai. Landed on the right hand runway....... taxi-ed off, then past terminal E, then D, then C, then B, and..... <deleted>.... terminal A is also disappearing in the distance ( maybe like imaginary numbers in maths, maybe there is such thing as an imaginary terminal.......

Yep, we did almost full 360 from where we landed, and hopped onto...you guessed, a bus again..... and then is was.... Terminal A, then B, and then C and then D, and then E, U turn, and finally got dumped off.

Getting long winded I know, but TG, if u cant afford gates, mabe let Nok air take over the route ( p.s. whilst on the bus, saw a Nok air flight hooked up to a real gate..... what a dream....if only one day i could use one....

Will keep stats for TG. So far, 2 out of 2 arrivals at the new airport have been on a bus....

Good idea! Let's turn this into a thread where we all can post our statistics of how many times we've been bused vs. gate parking.

For me, four flights on TG and bused 1 out of the 4.

Yes, I will keep track of em in this thread. I have the bad luck of ending meetings ealy evening, and typically flying back to BKK arriving between 9pm to midnight. Most flights retire for the night, and as such, you always end up in the parking area.

In DM, I would say that 7 out of 10 i ended up this way ( Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Shanghai, Hongkong etc...regional, shorter flights )
