I havent found this stated anywhere. This is what i've just been advised is policy. Immigration won't issue this certificate if you havent done a 90 day police report in the last 12 months. I've always travelled inside the 90 days and even though I reported my details to immigration as part of my visa renewal and reentry permit in November (and every time I reenter the country) they cant do it.

So its off to the embassy.

A year ago I had not done a 90 day report and received the cert of residency from Jomtien immigration. Last month I got another one but had made a 90 day report in the intervening months

I know the requirements do change but so does the enforcement at different immigration offices. No harm popping down and seeing what happens.
