FolkGuitar
I've seen it at Global House, but it was the 'split' type. For chain use you'd need to glue it up along the split.

FolkGuitar
split type could work and id just run duct tape around it, thanks In this hot and humid environment, I think I'd forgo duct tape. It tends to allow very, very sticky residue to squeeze out the edges and get on your hands and clothing every time you go near it. (Frankly, I think it has the ability to jump...) Especially true when used on things that get flexed often. If you can get "Gaffer's Tape" instead, that holds just about as well, and don't leave any sticky residue around. Looks and works the same as duct tape but used a different adhesive. In lieu of that, I'd use contact cement to hold it all closed. Easy to use and quite permanent. Gsxrnz
Being a frugal character, I'd whip down to the local bike repair lean-to and get an old bike inner tube for free. I mean, it's not as if you want to keep the chain warm or anything.

That would work great, much more durable than foam, no need for tape.
