Jools
Seems a classic case of "Thai-ness". Nothing new here. Every other southeast Asian nation seems to consider them the scum of the earth. After a while, I quit arguing with the Laotians, Cambodians, Vietnamese and Burmese. Thailand has a problem.
Johnniey
mocking someone with obvious mental problems is nothing to be proud of. I think it disgusting and inhumane to be able to spread this around - it's only a parking offence Nobody knows why she was fired from a judge or what goes on in her head - shame on you

Jools
This reminded me of the attitude of my Thai/Chinese landlady. She simply CANNOT understand why I need to have certain documents for Immigration. After all, in HER class, a bribe in a plain, brown envelope will suffice to cover all situations. I simply cannot make this woman understand that SOME of us have to obey the law.
Fookhaht
Reminds me of a certain big wig at the airport who lost his temper and boxed the ears of a security guy just doing his job at the security check. The sense of entitlement and behavior with impunity by people in high places runs deep.
guzzi850m2
The poor woman is sick and should be on a mental institution, sad state of affairs man. I hope she don't drive around with a loaded gun in the glove compartment.

Jools
The "ignorance" and "racism" you refer to should be attributed to the residents of the surrounding nations which expressed those opinions. I only live here. I merely observe and report and compare. Seems a classic case of "Thai-ness". Nothing new here. Every other southeast Asian nation seems to consider them the scum of the earth. Fookhaht
In 13 years never saw someone get a parking ticket here, although I've seen hundreds--no--thousands who deserved it. Now I know why the BIB are too afraid to do it.

elgordo38
Is this is the standard of the Judges here Sadly I think so. They after a while get that untouchable complex and their feathers get ruffled easily. Its just another bad example of elitism.

jvs
It is a new car and on both the windshield and the rear window there are papers identifying the vehicle. If the lady is really mentally ill then maybe there is an excuse for her behaviour but does her mental state also cause her to park where she did? If she acts irrational like this she should not be allowed to operate a vehicle or be alone in public. It may be in her best interest to stay at home, what happens if she meets someone who acts like she does?
Howitzer
Well, if ever there was a contest for the 'Ugliest Voice When Angry', I bet she would win something. I guess the guys around ought to be thankful for the fact that : 1/ she was not armed, 2/ she was not a Thai man, because I have a distinct feeling that a Thai man would have done much worse than throwing a plastic water bottle and screaming like an untamed shrew. Sad to observe what the proverbial loss of face can do to the otherwise pretty laid back and self-controlled people of Asia. However, asking the 'authorities' (political, parental, religious) to tackle the problem would be pretty much like asking a driver to repair his weels while driving. It is deeply ingrained in Asian societies, and there's a Mr Confucius in China to thank for that. It must also be noted that, although it is indeed ugly, it's the Hyde side and there's a Jekyll side to it as well. We have similar dilemmas in the West. Oh please man stop blaming a chinese person for the actions of a thai.
connda
'Judge not lest ye be judged' Luke 6:37. Angry but not pretty, ex-judge, Child Chanok Pain-Suwan, suffering from an unspecified mental illness known in non-medical circles as 'arrogance with delusions of grandeur', lost her silly little temper yesterday (Tuesday 19.01.'16) at the Dept. of Land & Transport, Mo Chit, Bangkok and attempted the Lambeth Walk. A spokesperson from her family later told a reporter that Child had recently given up smoking and was 'on the change'. Hell, that explains it all. In this story she is an untidy bag.
