Thinking about fitting the Lifan200 cross-dresser.

and durability.

@ 4x the cost [4000baht; 90x90/21] of stock tires [90x80/21], they must be good.

YouTube shows being changed @16,000 km. on a heavy adventure bike rear.

...planning Southern Laos in a month on Lifan200 X.

[there is a 7.5km cave you can ride a boat through, & out the other end, wild]

bought new tires for her yesterday

Michelin Anakee 3 on front, [90/90-21] B4000.

and a 4.6"-18 Dunlap, rear. B2500

[Anakee unavailable in 18"]

These replaced stock Duro mild nobbies @ maybe B2200/pr.

80/90-21 & 4.1"-18

will test today.

likely will try taller sprockets.

Installed DynaBeads too.

they seem to help my ceeber roll even smoother, at speed.

We have had chilly nights here.

Sometimes i like riding at night.

late, like after 3, when most drunks are already in.

I did some testing on my new dual sport tires.

the Dunlop is mfged in Japan; the Mich., Thailand.

Rode the bike yesterday for about an hour & half. Sois, main streets, Sukhumvit.

These treads are biased for pavement, and definitely run a lot smoother than the Duros.

Today did some riding at ~50 trying to hit road irregularities: grates, holes, &c.

Rode on some sandy trails.

Took it to the local MX track for some old man turns.

All good.

Then shot over to Bira International Circuit.

Noticed an AirWave-looking bike using the go-kart circuit.

Realised it was an Exciter and decided to join for 3 laps.

These tires work great when leaned way over in tight turns. Solid feeling.

[[Turns out the Exciter was being tested by Ohlin. They paid B600 to use the track.

I offered to switch mounts for a few turns, but these guys had seen me ride by this point.]]

These tires are good.

Just what papa was looking for.
