The blood donation campaign will run from February 6-12 at Phuket Regional Blood Centre.

PHUKET: -- Phuket Regional Blood Centre and Provincial Red Cross have launched a Chinese New Year blood donation campaign which will run from February 6-12 at Phuket Regional Blood Centre and they are encouraging people to donate blood to save lives and be blessed during the festive season.

Ponthip Ratajak, chief of Phuket Regional Blood Centre said at a monthly meeting at Provincial Hall that Phuket Regional Blood Centre is launching the “This Chinese New Year give Blood for a blessing to your life” campaign and invite all to join the campaign and donate blood.

The Chinese New Year celebrations start on Monday (Feb 8) and are one of the biggest cerebrations for many Thai-Chinese all over the world, especially here in Phuket, so it is a good opportunity to get people to be in the spirit of giving.”
