Thanks you so much Tywais

how about social security?

thanks again in advance

Employees and employers are required to contribute to a Social Security Fund (‘SSF’) being 5% of salary up to a maximum of 750 Baht per month.

Believe employers are required to match the contributions of the employee. There may have been some changes from last year.

I thought the minimum salary for a foreigner was 50k. Can someone enlighten me on the facts? Thanks.

Minimum salary for a "foreigner" depends on nationality.

A minimum salary requirement only has to be demonstrated if an extension of stay is applied for.

There is no minimum salary for a work permit, it's immigration that has put that requirement in place for extension of permission of stay. Also, there is no minimum if teacher or academic though the op mentions 'company'.

It's 1,500B for social security in your case, and you pay 50% and your employer 50%,

so all you have to pay for it is 750B a month.
