Mixing/Mastering music for artist's round the world :-) (have a small studio).

Another poster working without a work permit, tut tut.

I would be HAPPY if I get paid for it.lol I do it for free to have something to do :-)

But if someone like to donate they welcome, and I don't work for Thai's ;-)

It does not matter who you are working for, even just yourself. You are in Thailand?

Either I go for. 2 hour walk or an hour bike ride each day and sometimes a half hour or so of exercise. Plan next out of country trip and take trip. Visit areas of interest in Thailand in the mountains or islands. Cooking some, eating, video game, social media, shopping, work on house, water yard, drive here and there. Pretty much the same stuff I'd be doing back in the states but without having to watch my spending so much and without watching out for cops looking to nail me with a big fine for whatever excuse they can come up with.

This is a good answer. As well, you could read books; real ones or ibooks, many thousands are free. Attach yourself to the new "craze" of adult colouring books. Do some volunteer work, helping fellow compatriots or Thais. Learn about different subjects on the Internet. Learn the Thai language - say an hour every day! There are many free courses online: Spend a weekend away, enjoy a new place in Thailand you never been before. The list goes on!

Sure, that means you can not have a house either!

Hellstens. Yes that's right, it would not be your house but your wifes/GFs.

I'm smarter than that....I rent! but still need some work to fix

If you are working for yourself and not getting paid, you would just be doing what every westerner in Thailand does at some time or ever.

You need a 180 degree makeover. Drink a lot ( a cognac if you can afford it), smoke (I suggest good cigars), chase girls (not Walking Street but quieter bars on the dark side) and never sleep alone (or never go to bed alone). I'l lbe happy to provide the first cigar. Good luck in any event.

Can you translate it to English?

If you do not speak Thai, I would start with even just 30 minutes a day - it will enhance everything else that you do here...

So much to do, not enough hours in the day - - plenty on internet, movies, music, netflix, sports - skype with friends - - get into a walking habit to keep you moving - I probably kill an hour every few days taking my nap at the foot massage place in our local temple - kindle for reading whatever I want... 1 hour coffee stops with friends - plenty of family activities... find some new hobbies - helping others is always rewarding...

They dedicate their time to Thai visa telling others what fabulous lives they lead in this paradise of a country.

Often the reality is in stark contrast to what they post, bemoaning the visa process, dangerous roads and a disdain for older men having sex with young girls.

Incidentally some play Bridge and eat 35 baht noodle soup while others live in sprawling homes in the arse end of nowhere, curtain twitchers are also known to reside here.

Others prefer to take on the the role of immigration officers going over the same mundane questions in and out like its a badge of honour knowing Thai visa immigration rules,I've been known to get sucked into that also through sheer boredom.

Some like to discuss the cheapest means of getting around Jomtien and Pattaya all the while secretly wishing things could just be like home by hoping on the air con bus or trolley, metro.

Some are literally stuck here, living in a world of absolute hatred, not eating Thai food not speaking the language all the while tolerating the people that they have chosen to live around.

Then there are those that are really happy, but you won't find them on Thai visa forum as they are far to busy enjoying life to be sat on here all day.

Bitter, much?

Nope, he's just describing himself and letting us know how mundane and undesirable his life really is. Ignore him, he's posted five times what we have = only shows you he has no life outside Thai Visa.

That's normal? Hey, you kidding me?

The technical term for these "normal folks" is misanthropes.

Plant a garden, work as a gardener for someone else if you live in a condo, get on a songthaew and ride it all day, hang around in a mall, volunteer to work in a shop for free, become a farang tour guide specialising in soi buakhao and chaiyaphoom….and my all-time favourite….

play bingo.

No volunteering without a work permit and Non B

Buy a house with a garden, there aren't enough hours in the day for what has to be done and it's all mostly fun, at least satisfying.

A touch of masochism in this post.

Nah, it's great, really, wouldn't swap back to my old penthouse in Monte Carlo or the 100 metre yacht for anything in the world.

Normal folks in Thailand do drink, chase women, and take-in all that Paradise has to offer...it is those abnormal folks who find the daily grind boring and dream of packing up and moving on...Yes, I am among the abnormal...
