The Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology has issued a warning to people in highland provinces of the arrival of cool weather in the coming days.

This coming Sunday and Monday, Oddor Meanchey, Banteay Meancheay, Preah Vihear, Pailin, Stung Treng, Siem Reap, and other mountain areas could see temperatures ranging from 19 to 15 degrees, according to director of the Meteorology Department Um Rina.

“In Oddor Meanchey and Banteay Meancheay it will be 15 to 17 degree. Battambang, Stung Treng, and Siem Reap will be 17 to 19 degree,” Mr. Rina said.

He told Khmer Times that this year’s February will see more cool days in the country than last year.
