Applying for a Non-B Visa in Singapore,recommendation-tips?

Recommended Posts

I was there once and saw them tell an african chap that he must go back to the thai embassy in his country of origin to apply.

That would not be considered unusual since citizens of many countries can only apply for a visa in their home country. It is posted here on their website. http://www.thaiembassy.sg/visa-matters-/-consular/instructions-for-visa-application

I often applied for a None B-M in the past in Singapore but it was backed by a Thai company plus I hold Singapore PR status.

A single entry should be no problem but they now issie seldom ME B visas.

Just have your documents all ready.

If the paid up capital is low or the company has not paid much taxes in the past 2-3 years you might better go to Penang.

It's all change at the Singapore Embassy now.

They have an online system where you register, select the visa type and upload your supporting documents. You do this before you go to the Embassy in person.

Once your application status is 'Reviewed' you print everything out and take it to the Embassy. At this point your application should be accepted because it has already been checked.

A much better system.
