Eibarres
Hi there, I'm applying to a Non B visa in Singapore very soon? Does anyone has any tips or recommendation regarding the process? Any previous experiences comments are much appreciated. Thanks.
ubonjoe
See their requirements her. http://www.thaiembassy.sg/visa-matters-/-consular/visa-requirements/non-immigrant-visa-b The best advise I can give you is to go to a different embassy or consulate to apply for your visa. Singapore has a reputation for not being friendly or helpful.
JHolmesJr
I was there once and saw them tell an african chap that he must go back to the thai embassy in his country of origin to apply.
ubonjoe
I was there once and saw them tell an african chap that he must go back to the thai embassy in his country of origin to apply. That would not be considered unusual since citizens of many countries can only apply for a visa in their home country. It is posted here on their website. http://www.thaiembassy.sg/visa-matters-/-consular/instructions-for-visa-application

RabC
I used to work in Sg and regularly came to Thailand on Business and never had any problems as it was a truly legit visa. I was getting 3-4 visas per year but I was never allowed a multi entry.
MobileContent
I often applied for a None B-M in the past in Singapore but it was backed by a Thai company plus I hold Singapore PR status. A single entry should be no problem but they now issie seldom ME B visas. Just have your documents all ready. If the paid up capital is low or the company has not paid much taxes in the past 2-3 years you might better go to Penang.
fstarbkk
SG residents and citizens usually have no problems. But I've heard plenty of horror stories (including one of my own), over the years. Go somewhere else if possible.
JWNY
Please make sure you have all documents. Discretion is of course with consular, but generally not difficult if all in place
blackcab
It's all change at the Singapore Embassy now. They have an online system where you register, select the visa type and upload your supporting documents. You do this before you go to the Embassy in person. Once your application status is 'Reviewed' you print everything out and take it to the Embassy. At this point your application should be accepted because it has already been checked. A much better system. Details here: http://www.thaiembassy.sg/visa-matters-consular Register/Login here: http://visaonline.thaiembassy.sg
