Continuity IRA reportedly behind Dublin shooting

DUBLIN: -- Irish nationalists opposed to Northern Ireland’s peace process have told broadcasters they were behind a fatal shooting at a Dublin hotel last week.

One man was killed and two others were wounded when gunmen dressed as police officers opened fire at a boxing weigh-in.

The Continuity IRA say it was in retaliation for the killing of an ally in 2012.

When will it ever end?

It wont.

The excuse of being against the peace process, is just that, an excuse.

This is all about the proceeds of crime. There is no major crime / organised crime that is not sanctioned by the same people who were previously known as IRA / PIRA / INLA / CIRA and whatever other names they came under.

The same applies to those on the other side of the divide.

Ya gotta be stupid to sell drugs in SE Asia. But ya gotta be even more stupid, and/or have big balls, to sell drugs in Dublin...

I've stayed in that hotel....blink.png

Unless you're selling them on behalf of the CIRA or similar!

As said by Sgt Rock; these people are thugs, criminals and gangsters. Nothing more.
