Axel
He certainly needs a visa to enter Thailand, here the ruling: National IRAN (ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OF) (IR) Destination THAILAND (TH) Passport (must be valid 6 months beyond visa application and in good condition) and visa required. vinny
He could try applying at one of the following places: ROYAL THAI EMBASSY, KUALA LUMPUR ROYAL THAI CONSULATE-GENERAL, KOTA BHARU ROYAL THAI CONSULATE-GENERAL, PENANG
Maestro
...can he not come to thailand from maylasia and get a 30 day stamp. As an Iranian national, your friend does not appear to qualify for visa-exemption nor for a visa on arrival. Therefore, he needs to apply for a tourist visa. The best place to apply for his visa would be the Thai embassy/consulate in his home country, but he can also try at a Thai consulate in Malaysia. --------------- Maestro
vinny
Indeed, if he's still in Iran, he should apply there.
