Check SIM card credit on GPS tracker

Featured Replies

hope I posted in the right forumsmile.png

I got a new GPS tracker TK102 which works excellent using a SIM card from AIS.
It has no display and no option to enter a password.
I call it from my phone and it sends me an SMS with its geo-coordinates.

My question: How can I check available credit on this SIM card?
- maybe only by putting the SIM card in another phone.

the password will be for the calling phone number.

Will check with AIS

Will check with AIS

Perhaps you didn't understand my reply....

I don't know how you would do it with AIS but I have a DTAC DATA SIM that I use as a hotspot and I can log into MyDTAC web site and input my DATA SIM number and I will get an OTOP which I must then input into the web site where I can then look at my account balance and usage details. The advantage I have is that my "hot spot" device can received SMS messages so I can see the OTOP but without any display I don't see how one could check the balance

Someone with more experience with the AIS web site may have a solution, since just looking it appears to have the same requirements for an OTOP that DTAC has

Actually you don't need to do that if you are using the DTAC Internet connection to gain access to the website. It will recognise that you are utilising a DTAC connection and sign in automatically. TRUE H will do the same if you go to the correct page. AIS used to do so, but not any more...unless there is a different point of entry about which I have forgotten. So with AIS, at least to my knowledge, you need the one time password sent to the device. The question is whether the OP's GPS device is capable of revealing/forwarding the SMS in so that he can view it.

The OP has already stated that he cannot receive a password on his GPS device using AIS

I just tried it using my DTAC data account via my "hot spot" and I get the same screen requesting the mobile number to obtain the "get password" using the DTAC mobile app on my smart phone, so even using DTAC for a connection I still need the password

But I did notice something in the small type which states " If your device cannot received (sic) SMS from verifying process. Alternate way is to log in with your Facebook account that has linked with at least one dtac phone number"

Maybe AIS has a similar back door which the OP could use to get the password to check his usage via either his smart phone or on his computer

No...the OP stated:

It has no display and no option to enter a password.

That is not to say that it cannot forward an SMS.

As to DTAC auto sign in.... perhaps you are utilising a proxy or your browser is too old, but the link is here: https://my.dtac.co.th/esv/en/login?ref=remaining-balance

Definitely no need to add details if you are utilising DTAC to connect. It already populates the form with your number and then proceeds to sign in automatically.
