Looking for a Helpful Visa Service

Featured Replies

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone knows of a visa service that can get a one (or more) year visa from within Thailand itself, or in a neighbouring country, preferably one which can be renewed rather tham reapplied for, as I would like to get permanent residency/citizenship at some point.

From those I've talked to, it seems like I need to be physically present in the country of my citizenship (the United States) to receive a visa, but I'm hoping that there might be some more accomadating companies which would allow me to just mail my passport?

For note, I'm under 50 years of age, currently have no documented employment so to speak of (I have an income of around 50k THB/month from a foreign wire into a Thai bank account in my own name), have resided in the Kingdom for the last three and a half years (under a 1 year visa applied for in the US, an ED visa, a second 1 year visa applied for in the US, and, at present, visa exemptions and extensions of those exemptions). I do not want to actually attend any classes, but I am proficient in Thai, so if there were services that only required passing an examination that would be acceptable.

If anyone has any suggestions for a friendly company or other way of getting a longer term visa, it would be much appreciated! Thanks :)

You would have to be working here with a work permit to for at least 3 years to apply for residency. You would need permanent residency for 5 years to apply for citizenship unless you married a Thai. You would need to find job or form your own company to do it.

I don't any agent can help you get what you want.

One option to get a long stay visa is the Thai Elite program. It would allow you to get a multiple entry visa valid for 5 years that allows unlimited one year entries. See: http://www.thailandelite.com/glimpse.php

Hmm, well leaving permanent residency and citizenship out for the time being, do you know of any services that could provide just a one year visa without a huge degree of effort or an initial outlay of 500,000?

NO!

What you are seeking is unavailable.

As said, what you are asking for does not legally exist

If you are under 50, not married and not working here there is no "1 year visa" you can get

If you want to stay here longterm your only options would be the Elite as mentioned above or another years ED course if you can get one, you would need to ask a school about this
