Germany Rejects EU Plan for Levy on Industry for Green Energy

BERLIN, Feb 17 (Reuters) - Germany has rejected as unacceptable European Commission plans to make industrial firms generating their own power pay a surcharge to help fund a transition to renewable energy, according to an economy ministry paper seen by Reuters.
