Miami-Dade police 'hunting' men who fatally shot boy, 6
By Eliott C. McLaughlin, CNN

(CNN)A 6-year-old boy was fatally shot while playing with his friends in Pinewood, just north of Miami, and police and the boy's family are taking on the area's entrenched anti-snitch culture in hopes of persuading witnesses to come forward.

King Carter was playing Saturday afternoon in Blue Lake Village when "two unknown black males exited a dark four-door sedan and began shooting, striking Carter. The gunmen and driver then fled the complex in the vehicle in an unknown direction," the Miami-Dade Police Department said in a statement.

Police say they are looking for three black men. The make and model of their car is unknown.

An absolute tragedy.

No rioting in the streets for this young black life?

His life matters too so why not protest about black men killing black men and children too?

Protest the violence don't just focus your anger at the police.

The police have some bad apples for sure, but that is the minority. They are the only ones out there to protect society from animals like this that would murder and innocent young boy.

Unfortunately children being shot to death is a common occurrence in my home country. Very often it not even as a result of crime but of careless parents who have left a loaded weapon in the house where their child can get their hands on it.

Unbelievable. Cowardly pigs! Murdering a child in cold blood. Death penalty or life imprisonment not good enough punishment. Hope they do catch these lowlife scumbag bastards!

why are we suddenly getting news on San Francisco & now Miami ??

not really news as it happens everyday .............. blink.png

May be CNN has bought TV stock. You never know these days.

if the kid had a gun, nothing would have happen

-NRA fans-

Indeed, the answer is more guns, if the streets were lined with loaded firearms this child wouldn't have died. Long live the NRA Lunacy.

RIP Little chap.

This was probably meant as a warning to one of his parents or other family member.

We should expect Black Lifes Matter to be out on the streets in force. Let's check tomorrow?

This is such a thoughtful and level headed post. Thanks so much. Your compassion is really felt in your words.
