Hi I was wondering does anyone know of any lawn bowls greens (grass or artificial) in Bangkok & Pattaya. I know the Royal Bangkok Sports Club has some greens but expensive for membership and also the Retreat Lawn Bowling Club in Pattaya. Is there any other places to play lawn bowls people know of?

When i first arrived in bangkok nearly 2 years ago, i asked this question also. Thana City Golf and Sports Club in Bangkok http://www.thanacitygolf.com/ out near suvarnabhumi airport were talking about putting some artificial greens in. I don't think anything is happening presently about putting them in. But if you ring the Operations manager, James Shippey, and ask him this question, maybe with enough interest, talk might turn into action.

Thanks johno. I visited Thana Golf Club last year and didn't see any bowling greens but will contact the operations manager and let you know what they say. Doesn't seem like there is too many lawn bowls clubs about maybe an opportunity there who knows.
