BANGKOK: -- A police complaint has been filed against against a twisted man in Kanchanaburi province after he allegedly filmed himself strangling his girlfriend's cat and posted the video online after she ignored his phone calls Sunday night.

Animal organization Watchdog Thailand announced yesterday it was helping the cat's owner, whose identity was withheld, to take legal action against her boyfriend after he allegedly strangled her cat.

Minworasara Kreenapa, a friend of the woman, said she wanted to break up with her boyfriend after he physically abused her, so she ignored his phone calls, causing him to strangle her cat as a threat.

This pathetic excuse of a man is a powder keg waiting go off against a human being, and most likely a woman.

Far too many studies show direct links between the abuse of animals and future violence against people. Researchers have found that about 50% of women entering domestic violence shelters reported that their partners also abused or killed the family pet.

Sadly, we'll hear more from this man but it will be too late. But in the interim and at the very least, glad to see the three cats were removed from his possession.

I know it is hard to train a cat to answer the phone. But I was able to get my dog to do it. So just need more training.

Getting the dog to type with Line messenger was more difficult; but now he is good to go.
