Study visa for Cambodian Citizen

Featured Replies

Hello all, I am a Cambodian citizen and typically I enter in and out of Thailand without having to apply for visa for tourism. I am interested in going to study medical school in Thailand for education continuation. With that being said, what type of visa will I need in order to study in Thailand on a Cambodian passport? Or do I just enter Thailand like I used to do for tourism and keep extending it whenever it's expiring? Any information that can guide me through this process will be much appreciated.

You can get a non immigrant education (ED) visa with paperwork from the school that would a allow a 90 day entry that can be extended up to one year at an immigration office.

No need to keep getting extensions and then going out for a new visa.

first u will need apply for an be accepted for the school;;

than they will issue you the correct paperwork to obtain the visa in Phnom Pehn.

am 100% sure the school will assist you.

If you enroll with a university medical school you will be able to secure one year renewable extensions of stay from the Ed visa for the duration of the course.

You would just need supporting paperwork from the medical school and the 1900 Bht fee.
