Well, he's said that the utterly defeated Iran has allowed the SOH to be opened dozens of times after the US/Israeli attacks started, which completely decimated the Iranian military and led to their staggering defeat. Strangely enough, in the following months all US military bases in the area were severely damaged/obliterated, aircraft were shot down or destroyed on the ground, mighty aircraft carriers suffered debilitating fires and the SOH remains for all practical purposes closed. So it's all a big mystery as to who is behind this as your 'oh so competent' C-in-C assured us that Iran was vanquished, done for, its goose cooked.
