I am told that there is a reduction on tax due on resales until april. Does anyone know the ins & outs of this?

Thank you any information welcomed.

Thank you, didn't realise there was one.

The tax is reduced from 2% to .01% until April

But the reduction is not on resales, only on new projects to a certain value, which I think is 3 million.

Thank you everyone...

So, the tax on developers selling new projects under 3m has been reduced? How does that help anyone but developers???

You should change your username, as it isn't rocket science that it benefits the buyer of the new condo, since he has to pay only .01% transfer tax.

It is the reduction of transfer fee from 2% to 0.01% for both new and second hand room/house. The first room/house and value not more than 3 million baht only apply to who want to reduce the income tax.

  • 2 weeks later...

The reduction is until 26 April
