It's obvious that WP is not being instructed on what to say, they asked hims which way he approached the victim, how many times he hit with the hoe, etc...

On the other hand in the clip at the prison when the reporter asks them if they killed Miller and Witheridge it is the translator (or rather handler I'd say) who immediately answers for them without even giving them time to speak.

You're confused AleG: The "handler" was the guy who was helping Wei Phyo with his answers and molesting him during the training video, the one where the police were coaching the B2 what to do at the 're-enactment'.

"Grim speculation over Thai-style justice pervades internet after Frenchman is found hanged on Koh Tao with hands tied behind his back"

"Thai police and physicians that carried out an autopsy have said that they are not treating the case as a homicide, stating that the asphyxiation was a suicide."

"However, due to the photographs which clearly show that the man’s hands are tied behind his back, and in view of the controversy that weighs upon the current murder case, there seems to be little, if any, public belief in the conclusion by forensics."

"Truth is a rare commodity where justice is concerned in Thailand, and while this was mostly concealed within the country prior to the advent of social media, it’s now Thailand’s worst kept secret." whistling.gif

Why did it take this officer atleast 40 minutes to call his boss ?

What was he doing with Mon besides telling people to move the murder weapon. ?

Did he testify

5.40am "O testified he found bodies must have called Mon

5.30am Doctor Testified this was the estimated time of the deaths.

5.45am

Mon must have called Sergeant Major Apichet Cherdguea

5.55 approx arrival time Sergeant Major Apichet Cherdguea

6.10 am O was approached by the resort’s boss and a policeman who told him to put on a pair of gloves and return it to the scene, which he did.

6.30am Police Lieutenant Jakkapan Kaewkao, said he received a call by a fellow officer.

6.35am Police Lieutenant Jakkapan Kaewkao arrived at the beach and swiftly cordoned off the area.

10am Dr Chasit Yoohat returned when he examined the bodies.

Pol Lt Jakkrapan Kaewkhao Testified the clothes were piled neatly. “photo’s show different.

Pol Lt Jakkrapan Kaewkhao, 26, head of the Koh Tao public service centre, was the first prosecution witness to testify in the murder case of British backpackers David Miller, 24, and Hannah Witheridge, 23, on the resort island in the early hours of Sept 15 last year.

The officer identified Zaw Lin and Win Zaw Htun to the court as the accused. Later, in cross-examination, he admitted he had not been involved in such a case before.

Lt Jakkrapan said he saw a body later identified as Mr Miller's at the water's edge at Sai Ree beach in front of the King Chulalongkorn statue, so he decided to move him to higher ground.

About five metres away, behind some rocks, lay a female body, later identified as Miss Witheridge.

The woman's skirt was pulled up to her waist, Pol Lt Jakkrapan told the three-member panel of judges. Bloodstains and human flesh was spotted on the rocks.

He believed the areas where he saw flecks of blood on the sand were likely to be where Miller was assaulted.

He found a metal part of a shovel, a wooden stick, and three cigarette butts about 60m north of Miss Witheridge.

A used condom, grey pants with a belt, a pair of canvas shoes, and a pair of pink sandals were piled neatly nearby.

Friends said Hannah and David left the bar between 3 and 4 am. Yet the documentary says they left around 2.15am together to the beach. Who are we to believe? The nameless 'friends' or the information from the documentary? Neither source is reliable as there are no names behind what is and has been said. All this would be so much clearer if police had been transparent and named who saw what and when. Must be a reason they have not made this clear.

I seen it mentioned quite while back that Andy Hall was taking action against a police officer for releasing the crime scene photos onto the internet that officer is most likely Sergeant Major Apichet Cherdguea he has been very quiet and I cannot recall any media mentioning that he was the first officer called to the crime scene.

We know the clothes were moved and the hoe going by pictures on the internet and admissions by Thai police.

Did Sergeant Major Apichet Cherdguea authorise another person to move the clothes and pack them neatly on a rock before Pol Lt Jakkrapan Kaewkhao was called to the scene ?

There were photos of a large piece of green material I believe similar to blankets in a resort that is connected to Mon it could have been used to carry the bodies in.

Was the reason the clothes and hoe were moved as it would implicate Mon .

Where did the big Green blanket go to as there is no mention of it in the investigation.

Why diid Sergeant Major Apichet Cherdguea and Mon advise O to move hoe .

Who Moved the clothes ?

The coverup started before Pol Lt Jakkrapan Kaewkhao got there and it looks very suspicious when the first officer called to the scene doesn't testify.

Was he disclipined for not calling his boss immediately as he has been very quiet and kept out of the media.

Pol Lt Jakkrapan Kaewkhao arrived within 5 minutes of getting a call but Sergeant Major Apichet Cherdguea and Mon had been there about 40 minutes before making that call going by times testified to the court.

I agree with C&D the police needed to be a lot more transparent.

You mean the thing on the rock in these photos SE?

Too big an item for any old tourist to forget about and leave on the beach I'd say.

Could be a blanket, a large hotel laundry bag, a sleeping bag? Looks like it may have a type of drawstring top.

Looks bulky enough to have enough fabric to carry a body in from these photos.

No, no mention of it in the investigation and it was not put on the rock along with the clothes which clearly police or others at the crime scene early on moved from the sand. Neither was the shoe you can see in the photo which is similar to the ones Matt Barratt was wearing. It never became clear which shoe was tested either - this one on the beach or the one seen under the tree where the hoe was photographed along with O the alleged half blind cleaner.

The person who took the unofficial photos would no doubt have some enlightening information about what went on and what was removed from the crime scene between the time of those photos and the 'official' photos. But like everyone else who could shed light on the truth, that person too remains nameless.

Also the above photo showing all the blood notice how the pattern shows it circular with no blood in the centre could that have been the green blanket .

Maybe this is another reason why Dr Pornthip showed deep concern.

did the documentary fail to mention about video of the running numbnuts, and the falsified CCTV footage from bkk? i know they showed the cctv from bkk, but it seemed they failed to mention that many believe it to be falsified. the whole thing was too depressing to watch a second time.

Professionalism at its peak! Remember back in November '14 when General Prayut said British and Thai police studied from the 'same textbooks' and we all fell over laughing. I'm beginning to wonder if it's true now. Seems apathy, ignorance and corruption is not exclusive to the Thai Police.

You are, as usual, making things up; someone placed a small green towel on Witheridge's face to cover the horrible injuries, it had nothing to do with the crime. Now you guild the lily by falsely claiming that it was a large blanket and trying to imply that it was used to carry the bodies to the crime scene. You do nothing but post false information and make unsupported defamatory accusation.

Funny how when the guy asked the translator if he could ask them a direct question "did you kill Hannah and David?" the translator (handler) said "they deny this" without given them a second to answer the question.

Maybe she is one of those mind reading translators ?
