Can I apply for 3 SETV's in a year? Please help

Featured Replies

This is regarding SETV(Single Entry Tourist Visa)

I wanted to know if its possible to take SETV 3 times a year(I am from India) as i plan to live in Thailand for around 9 months and remaining 3 months i will go back to India.

Just to be clear, this is my plan

May - Apply for SETV

June, July, Aug - Stay in Thailand (60+30 by paying 1900 at immigration)

Sept- Come back to India and apply for another SETV

Oct, Nov, Dec - Stay in Thailand (60+30 by paying 1900 at immigration)

Jan- Come back to India and apply for another SETV

Feb, March, April - Stay in Thailand (60+30 by paying 1900 at immigration)

Total 9 months stay with 3 months in my country.

Do you think immigration will question why am i visiting the country that often? I dont plan on working here as I got enough stash in bank and passive income to support myself.

Immigration will not be a problem on entry to the country. The problem could occur when you apply for the visas dependent upon the policy of the embassy or consulate where you apply.

Yes that's what i meant. I mean the consulates in my country. Will they have a problem? Not sure what kind of problem will they have as i have proof to show the money in bank and i have visited Thailand last year too for 2 weeks.

PS: I got a GF there so will an invitation letter from her ease up the process? I plan to stay with her in apartment

I cannot predict what the consulates policy will be. Their are a few of them that will not do another one unless you have been out of Thailand for a period of time (90 days at some).

Not sure a letter from your girl friend will help.
