PATTAYA -- In the early hours of Thursday, two Foreigners reported being assaulted in two separate incidents at a Pattaya Beer Bar Complex.

The two incidents occurred at the Pattaya New Plaza Beer Bar Complex located off Soi Buakao and resulted in injuries sustained to Mr. Leonard Casa aged 70 from UK and Mr. David aged 49 from Germany.

Mr. Casa sustained a black-eye after he was reportedly punched in the face following an altercation with the owner of one of the Beer Bars. A friend of the bar owner is alleged to have punched Mr. Casa who made his way to Pattaya Police Station after receiving medical treatment at the Pattaya Memorial Hospital.

A 70 yr old generally won't be able to fight back, and will suffer greater injury. It is on par with puching a young child in the face.

Those who do so deserve a custodial sentence.

If you can't get a 70-year-old drunk off the premises without resorting to punching them in the face, you probably shouldn't be running a bar in the first place.

Smashes? It's called a punch and 1 black eye is hardly "smashing "

Try to have an altercation with owner of the bar back home and see how many days or weeks you would be hospitalised

Totally agree, if you have a bar in Pattaya you must expect drunk sometimes abusive customers.

You don't have to be ex special ops etc to simply put someone in an arm lock etc and escort then away.

Sadly their are many knuckle draggers around who simply like to take it to a different level, but throwing punches at a 70 year is not a feather in the cap

of a Pattaya macho man.
