None of my Galaxies have been rooted and have all updated withing days of the update release.

no they havent lol .............

The S6 update to Marshmallow is now available on AIS and probably on all the other carriers too. Well worth the upgrade in my opinion.

The only problem with Sasmung phones is they so slow to do any updates, got an S4 and the latest version is 5.01 which is old, at least with nexus and the crappy i-mobiles you get the latest updates as they released.

Haha...good joke, probably except the IQ-II, but that is another story.

Fortunately most of their phones are generic Chinese ones, so you can get newer firmwares from the Net.

How old are you? That solves nothing.

You're wrong. It solved my problem with my Lenovo and gave me a lot of satisfaction. I took out the SIM card and threw the pieces in the trash. I should add that it was about a month out of the one year warranty.
