sate ayam Posted March 7, 2016 Share Posted March 7, 2016 hello, I'm looking for a bank/broker where US stocks can be traded (dollar account). Plan is to generate some income by receiving dividends. Are there any advantages opening an account at a major foreign bank in Singapore while there is a branch in Bangkok? Any input is greatly appreciated. I have never used it so cant comment on whether its any good, fees etc. Usually you get gouged on the foreign currency element. I've used their service for buying and selling Singapore stocks.
