4 Day Overstay Due to Dental Work

Should I waste a Day @ Immigration getting a extension for 1900 baht ? already on 30 day extension. I need 4 days do to emergency Dental work. I guess immigration gives you 7 on second extension ?

Or just pay the 2,000 at airport ?

Does a 4 day overstay affect future travels anywhere ?

I do have a doctors note, but I know no one cares.

Yes, people do care. I had a sick friend who was unable to travel outside the country for medical reasons, and I used to get extensions, a fortnight at a time, for him on production of a doctor's certificate.

But it depends which Immigration Office you have to go to! (mine was Chiangmai)

go to immigration, do it right

Follow the law, get the appropriate extension, if you get caught, involved in a minor accident or anything, you could be arrested without correct and current Visa/extension.
